Alexis is the CEO of The Family Business Network (FBN), the world’s leading network bringing together over 4,000 business owning families  – 17,000 individual members including 6,400 Next-Generation members – in 32 chapters covering 65 countries.

Prior to FBN, Alexis held senior positions, including at Lhoist, Verlinvest, Armonea and IFC (World Bank Group). For 6 years, he was Chairman of the Board of ToolBox, supporting NGOs by offering professional consultancy.

He is member of the Board of Trusted Family, the leading governance platform for family offices and boards, of the Advisory Council of AITIA Institute in Singapore and of various cultural organizations.

He has recently been recognized as one of the Top 100 Family Influencers by a leading magazine.

A Belgian and Swiss citizen, Alexis holds a Master in Management Science from Solvay Business School, is an INSEAD IEP and IMD HPL Graduate.

Christine manages the Family Business Network Next Generation initiatives – including the Next Generation Summits, the New Leader Circle, the NxG Award and the International Internship Program.

Coordinating the NxG Leadership Team since 2007, she’s acting as a servant leader, insuring next generations’ a safe place to grow together, and taking them to places they thought they would never go!

French citizen, Christine holds a Master in Communications from Poitiers Management School with an additional professional master in communication audit. From 2004 til 2007 Christine managed internal communications for Philips Seminconductors France and started her career in England as a marketing assistant for Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth.

Andrew Bryson

Head of Business Transformation (Digitalization & Sustainability)

Andrew is leading our Digital Transformation and Operational Excellence initiatives, which include the implementation of our new Member Exchange platform and working with our chapters to share best practices. Andrew has been a part of FBN since 2014, first as a founding member of the Polaris Committee and, in 2019, helping us renew our purpose and visual identity.

A US national, Andrew holds a Master of International Development from the University of Pittsburgh. He started his career as Executive Director of the Milarepa Fund, a non-profit that promoted youth involvement in social change. He then worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in both the US and Asia where, as Director of Transformation, he led the agency’s transformation and purpose initiatives. Most recently, he was the Managing Director at several tech start-ups, including Inmoji, a mobile messaging and client engagement platform.

Natsuda Minder

Swiss national from Thai origin, Natsuda is a graduate of Ecole Hoteliere in Geneva. She started her career as a flight attendant at Swiss International Airlines, then worked for several hotels as management trainee in Spain and Switzerland. For the past four years, she held various functions at the International Olympic Committee, more recently as Event Manager in charge of IOC Commission and Board meetings, as well as ticketing operations at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.

Natsuda brings great expertise in state-of-the-art event organization and management, in a global organization working with multiple sports federations and local organization committees. Her experience will contribute to deliver great global events as FBN moves beyond its Summits to deliver community gatherings such as the Polaris Impact Forum and the Entrepreneurship Day.

Sonia Ceballos

Communications Officer

A Colombian national, Sonia has been Creative Director at FBN Colombia over the past 3 years to rethink the communications and brand strategy of our Colombian chapter. She also played a key role in facilitating the massive online move of their community, which featured 99 online activities last year.

Prior to this experience, she worked for various organizations, including Novartis Colombia and in the TEDx event development at Universidad Externado de Colombia as Creative Director and Communications Officer.

Sonia holds a Communications and Journalism diploma from Universidad Externado de Colombia and complementary studies in storytelling and creativity, bringing a great knowledge of our network along with her communications and community development skills.

Jenaan Lilani

Jenaan is a development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in creating social and environmental impact.  

She began her career working in public health towards HIV/AIDS prevention amongst high-risk groups, and improving sexual and reproductive health outcomes for commercial sex workers and women in urban-slum settlements.  

Over the years she has supported a number of businesses in not only setting up their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies, but has also been instrumental in influencing sustainable and gender-smart value chain interventions. 

Most recently, in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer at India’s premier business incubator - Villgro, Jenaan shepherded the organization’s 5 year strategic plan and also set up the company’s 4th vertical on Gender Inclusion. She additionally held responsibilities of financial sustainability, strategic partnerships, and impact measurement at Villgro.  

Jenaan is passionate about supporting the economic resilience of minority communities and is an Advisor to young Muslim women through the LedBy Foundation. She was also an Advisor on AVPN’s Youth Opportunities Platform where she mentored young entrepreneurs across Asia and continues to support Villgro in an advisory capacity. 

 

Heather Hélène Barr

A Franco-American citizen, Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Management from Oregon State University and is a certified Professional Congress Organizer.

She brings a wealth of experience in the planning, organization, management, and delivery of global events, including with several international federations. Her recent experience includes the management of international events at MCI, the leading professional conference organizer, where she worked for more than 10 years.

Half Ecuadorian half Spanish, as a 3rd Generation member of her family business Florisol&Co, Ceci studied International Relations and just started an MBA in Madrid. She has gained experience working in different areas such as Real Estate, Marketing and Sales. Ceci is a highly active and passionate NxG community member where she first engaged as a NxG leader for FBN Ecuador and joined the International NxG Leadership Team in 2019. We are thrilled to have a great networker on the team, that will bring her drive, enthusiasm, and knowledge to positively impact the NxG Community.

Based in Madrid, Ceci will closely work with the FBN Team, the NxG Leadership Team and NxG leaders and chapter executives around the world to continue to develop our thriving NxG Community

Mireya Hemmeler

Office and Accounting Manager

Originally from Spain, she holds a Master's degree in Business Management from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Business Administration from the University Jaume I in Castellon de la Plana, Spain.

In 2011, Mireya journeyed to Switzerland with the goal of improving her language skills, but she ended up making it her home. Today, she is fluent in three languages and conversational in one more, a reflection of her unwavering commitment to self-improvement.

Mireya's career path began as an assistant accountant at EF Education First, a Swiss-based language education organization, where she worked while pursuing her Master's degree. She also contributed her expertise as an Accounting Officer at IMD for the last two years.

Drawing from her international experience and diverse skill set, Mireya plays a key role in ensuring that FBN's financial records are meticulously managed, and our office processes are finely tuned. Additionally, she provides valuable assistance to our CEO in managing his agenda, keeping everything running smoothly at the highest levels.
