Alexis is CEO of the Family Business Network (FBN). Prior to FBN, Alexis worked for various family businesses in senior positions, including Lhoist Group, Verlinvest and Armonea, a leading elderly care group in Europe. He was also Senior Investment Officer at IFC (World Bank Group) in the Treasury, Infrastructure and Microfinance Departments. Alexis is currently member of the Board of Family Business International Foundation and member of the Advisory Board of Mind & Life Europe. A Belgian and Swiss citizen, Alexis holds a Master in Management Science from Solvay Business School and is an INSEAD IEP Graduate.
The Central Team is responsible for the management of the Association and the implementation of the directions and instructions issued by the Board.

NxG Program Manager, Switzerland
Christine manages the Family Business Network Next Generation initiatives – including the Next Generation Summits, the New Leader Circle, the NxG Award and the International Internship Program.
Coordinating the NxG Leadership Team since 2007, she’s acting as a servant leader, insuring next generations’ a safe place to grow together, and taking them to places they thought they would never go!
French citizen, Christine holds a Master in Communications from Poitiers Management School with an additional professional master in communication audit. From 2004 til 2007 Christine managed internal communications for Philips Seminconductors France and started her career in England as a marketing assistant for Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth.
Governance Manager, Switzerland
Swiss national, Maya joined The Family Business Network in 2007, after several years with the Business Excellence Division of Orange Communication in Lausanne, advocating and improving Customer Experience through pre-launch testing and review of the design specifications from a customer perspective. Prior to that, Maya had worked several years for the Swiss headquarters of the Finnish Group Nokia in Geneva and Lausanne, where she was involved in the organization and preparation of the training sessions of the Nokia Business School.
In close collaboration with the CEO, Maya co-ordinates all governance activities (Board meetings and Governance rotation).
Digital Transformation Lead, Switzerland
French national, Michael is a graduate of Master of Science in Electronics System and Computer Science from Polytechnic School of Nantes University. He started his career in Asia (Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong), working for digital marketing, software development and solution providers, and a health organization. He then moved back to Europe and worked at Nespresso as Senior e-Commerce Manager and at IMD as Senior Project Manager, managing Business and IT transformation projects mainly in the domain of CRM, e-Commerce and digital platforms.
Michael brings great expertise in digital transformation, community platform development and implementation. His experience will contribute to improve our IT support systems, as we are launching the project to develop and implement a new community exchange platform.
Events Manager, Switzerland
Swiss national from Thai origin, Natsuda is a graduate of Ecole Hoteliere in Geneva. She started her career as a flight attendant at Swiss International Airlines, then worked for several hotels as management trainee in Spain and Switzerland. For the past four years, she held various functions at the International Olympic Committee, more recently as Event Manager in charge of IOC Commission and Board meetings, as well as ticketing operations at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.
Natsuda brings great expertise in state-of-the-art event organization and management, in a global organization working with multiple sports federations and local organization committees. Her experience will contribute to deliver great global events as FBN moves beyond its Summits to deliver community gatherings such as the Polaris Impact Forum and the Entrepreneurship Day.
Accountant and Personnel Officer, Switzerland
Since 2013, Sonia has helmed both the Accounting & HR functions for FBN International. From 2000 to 2013, Sonia worked for Tetral SA as a Senior Accountant, managing the financial accounting of several entities within the organisation, and working closely with internal & external auditors. In parallel, she was also responsible for the IT development of the accounting system.
Sonia holds dual Swiss and Italian citizenship which helps her maintain a multicultural perspective on life – so vital in her work with member families. From 1999 to 2003, she added to her educational credentials by completing the Brevet of Finance & Comptabilité.

Paolo is SDA Senior Lecturer of the Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management Department at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is also Teaching Fellow of Corporate Strategy at Bocconi University. Paolo has been the Director of the Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management Department at SDA Bocconi School of Management, and the Director of the Executive MBA.
Paolo has held teaching assignments at MISB Bocconi (Mumbai), EIPM Business School (Archamps), and Iranian Business School (Teheran).
Paolo has extensive consulting and executive experience, both in Italy and abroad, and serves as board member for several multi-business and multi-national firms. He is a frequent speaker at corporate and industry events on topics such as: family business, succession planning, and strategic change. Paolo regularly cooperates with the Family Business Network International (FBN-I) and is a member of the Family Firm Institute (FFI).
Paolo lectures on topics as diverse as in family business, internationalization, strategic decision making, and corporate strategy.
